As a growing professional, you know when you are striving for significance yet challenged to effectively communicate and connect with others, perhaps different generations or maybe different communication methods?
We are all different, and predictably different.
I advocate for others to help overcome this through individual or group self-discovery and coaching.
I am married to my high school sweetheart, proud father of three adult sons, father-in-law to two daughters-in-law and "pops" to our granddaughter. Family values are at my core, instilled in me by my parents, grandparents, neighbors, teachers and coaches from my small- town community. My parents also instilled the love for sports in me. Being a college basketball fanatic is an understatement. My wife and I have an "understanding", she accepts being a college basketball "widow" from November to April each year. I do have a favorite team. I will never turn away from a good college basketball game though, even if "my team" isn't playing.
I knew early in my career, as a CPA, that I wanted to be significant and make a difference. I followed my Dad's footsteps and first explored this through Public Accounting with Regional and National firms and the clients I served. It became more clear with the accounting leadership positions I held in manufacturing, retail, agriculture and government contracting. When I held business leadership positions in commercial truck dealership and a national association my passion was burning. Joining the John Maxwell Team has been the resource for me to live out my passion to make a positive difference in other people.
I welcome the opportunity to make a difference, great or small, with you, your team, your organization. Contact me and let's discuss how I can tailor a program to help you address your needs.
